I did a talk at Develop last week that went down really well and thought I'd share. The aim of the talk was to kill all the unproductive fatalist narratives and to drive indies to understand how to sell their games. I missed some of the content of the talk out due to being a bit tired (or it being too sensitive/complex for Youtube), but I hope this gives a good overview of my feelings on the matter.

Next Maia update is currently in testing. We're planning to release on Tuesday. It has simulated emotions and social interactions now and the core gameplay has really come together since Minecon.
