Here is a basic lesson on playing slide guitar. This covers what you should work on if this is brand-new to you and your not too sure where to start... The notes I am playing are all in the key of 'G' minor pentatonic (the blues scale). So to start, focus on just simply hitting the pitch or note to begin with and then you can gradually add vibrato in as you get more used to hitting the notes in pitch. It takes time to get these techniques together - so just keep at it and it will come together...
This Duesenberg Starplayer TV Semi-Hollowbody guitar I'm playing sounds absolutley amazing and as of this posting it is for sale at 'The Amp Shop' in Sherman Oaks, CA (I also teach there - so contact me if you are interested in lessons, if I have an opening I would be more than glad to help you..) You can call them at 818-386-5500 or if you would like, you can find them on the web at www.bassexchange.com
