We like to believe we make rational decisions, but behavioural economics research demonstrates clearly that people are weird. Rather than consistently making rational choices which maximize value, our decisions are influenced by how we perceive value and other hidden forces. Understanding how the collision of social and market norms may drive behaviour on an Agile team will help teams succeed.
