Research suggests that between 30-95% of children with ASD have used Complementary and Al- ternative Medical (CAM) treatments. However, there is little research that has been published on the safety and benefits of these interventions for autism; this avenue of research is relatively new. Learn about what research has been done, what some of the potential risks and benefits might be, and what questions you can ask to educate yourself on these treatments.
