Swami Premodaya responds to a disciple's report that she feels increasingly able to handle difficult situations and emotions. Swami tells us that "cheerful optimism" is simply the most realistic attitude we can have toward life, because there's actual proof: if you review your life honestly, you'll notice how everything has always tended to work out in the end. Cheerful optimism is the intelligent, fact-based approach, and often leads to the end of the worry habit.
This is an excerpt from a Satsang with Swami Premodaya, a live and spontaneous public meeting.
