Howard Johnson's Original Trains Demonstration with John Bedini.
by Rick Friedrich May 14, 2009.

This is one of many videos I made with John that I have. People ask me about Howard Johnson from time to time so I thought I would repost this and show my thoughts about this. At the time John was all interested in the Mylow fake magnet motor. It wasn't that hard to make such a motor and John had one like that in that museum room (but it was partly taken apart). You cannot do what Mylow did, you cannot just make a circle of magnets. Of course people like him could blow air on it or have a hidden line driving it. John had me make a few of these circle magnet motors to see if Mylow was on to something. They did not run continuously when made like that.

Howard Johnson Trains:
There really wasn't much excess power in these kind of magnetic setups. Careful testing showed that there was only a very little output from the exist compared to bringing in the train to the entrance which offered resistance. I had planned on making a loop to see if it could overcome that resistance be never had any extra track. I really didn't have much interest in mere perpetual motion machines as I have done that already and only am interested in practical machines. It isn't really that hard to set up your magnets so that they can in various ways keep themselves in some form of motion, but to make real power you have to physically manipulate the magnets in several directions to exploit their full potential without electrical switching. Most people know the difference between pulling magnets apart and twisting them apart, so most people have the answers already...
