Gaming excitement courtesy of "Vectrom", the DIP-switch-tastic 32-games-in-one Vectrex cartridge. After figuring out the switch settings - since they're listed backwards on the box - I was free to relive more of my vector-based memories from nearly 30 years ago...
Turns out the football game is rubbish. Hyperchase isn't as good as I remember as the opposing cars move so jerkily. Star Hawk is barely a game at all - more like a teenager's first proof of concept mobile phone game. But on the plus side Pole Position was OK, the Pac-Man rip-off was better than I remembered and Scramble is still acebest. Plus I got to see a possibly unfinished cycling game, WHICH WAS NICE.
