demo of a membrane pipe made out of the body of an Eb Generation penny whistle minus its head, a 1/2" CPVC plumbing tee, and a stub of 1/2" CPVC pipe. The resonating element is a piece of plastic bag held in place with a rubber band. The sound is somewhat reminiscent of small pipes.

The version that harriswhistles posted is much better than my simply demonstration. The instrument seen at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=34tPge... is an even more advanced version that solves some problems I ran into when I tried to connect multiple tubes. Really pretty impressive.
