When it comes to live video FPV cameras, the Eagle has the best wide dynamic range I've seen so far and also offers excellent resolution. Beware however, that the 16:9 version has a significantly reduced vertical field of view which (IMHO) makes the 4:3 version a better option for miniquads.
Pros: - fantastic light handling (WDR) - excellent resolution - durable metal case - easy setup/OSD operation
Cons: - more expensive than an HS1177 - may be more susceptible to jello - has up to 45mS of latency - 16:9 version crops the image vertically
Summary: Well this camera will be my FPV camera of choice for all fixed-wing flying and many of my multirotors from now on -- but I might just keep the HS1177 for my super-fast quads :-)
