On March 11, 2013, one of their final Mondays at The Maple Leaf, Papa Grows Funk noticed Lettuce drummer Adam Deitch in the audience and asked him to sit in with them for a song. They played the PGF track "John Brown" off of Mr. Patterson's Hat.
