On Sunday, June 10, more than 100 motorcycles participated in the third annual "Ride for Homeless Animals," which left from the parking lot of Pure Paradise Pets, 161 Putnam Pike in Johnston, and traveled to the Narragansett Cafe in Jamestown. Proceeds benefit animals in the care of the North Providence Animal Shelter, which is shared by the town of Johnston, which offers dogs and cats for adoption. For info, call the shelter at (401) 719-1516.
