One of the greatest discoveries of the ancient world has been found! Unfortunately, only a privileged few are in a position to see, or decipher, the provocative text.
The ancient scrolls, smuggled from a secret cave near the Dead Sea, are soon delivered into the hands of the Vatican's own lead researcher, Cardinal Brandt.
Among the scrolls, one letter in particular, could rock the foundations of the church to the core—a letter written by Jesus himself on the night before His crucifixion.
Unfortunately, fragments are missing from the all-important letter and Cardinal Brandt sends for the one man capable of finding the lost pieces—his American brother and famed archeologist, Cutter.
But, they aren't the only ones searching for it...
The radical Muslim group known as Inshallha has their sights set on the letter's destruction and will stop at nothing short of complete mission success.
With the help of Laura, an intriguing Director of a research facility in Tel Aviv, Cutter attempts to stay one step ahead of Inshallha.
What he's about to find out, though, is that Laura is a covert member of a secret cabal, and she intends to obtain the precious letter for her own needs.
From Jerusalem to the ancient city of Petra, from a lost monastery near Alexandria to Saint Peter's tomb, Laura and Cutter's search becomes a race against time as they face down death on multiple fronts.
