For Auld Lang Syne is Arcade's companion quest.
It becomes available after Wild Card: Finishing Touches or, if you have 2 trust points with Arcade, you can do the quest after Wild Card: Change in Management or after informing Colonel Moore that Mr. House is disabled.

The quest may also be unlocked, with the 2 trust points, after the Brotherhood of Steel is destroyed for Mr. House.

Trust points are gained from saying agreeable thing to Arcade when he initiates dialogue. The easiest way to gain 2 points is to take Arcade to the Fort and telling him: "Let's just listen to him, figure out what he's up to, and get out."
You can also speak with Dr. Hildern at Camp McCarran and complement Arcade when he brings up Hildern's cold personality.

The objective of the quest is to gather 5 former Enclave members so that they can fight for either the NCR or Legion during the Battle for Hoover Dam.

It's an easy quest, just zip around the wasteland recruiting them. They require no skill checks to be recruited. Save Dr.Henry for last so that you won't do an extreme zigzag through the Mojave.

With the Remnants recruited, head to their bunker and use their password to enter the inner sanctum. Go to the back end of the bunker and speak with Judah to affirm who the Remnants will fight for.

If you choose for them to fight for the NCR, Moreno will walk out on the team, but he can be brought back into the fold with 80 speech or high NCR infamy. If you fail to calm him, he will attack you and you'll have to kill him.

Siding with the Legion results in Johnson quitting, but there's no way to change his mind.

After Moreno is dealt with, Gannon will ask if you think he should fight in the Battle with the Remnants or stay in Freeside with the Followers of the Apocalypse.

Having Gannon fight in battle ends badly for him since the NCR will recognize him as an Enclave member. He will spend the rest of his life as a fugitive. So if you care for the character, tell him to stay with the Followers.

Anyway, return to Judah after dealing with Moreno and get power armor training from Daisy. Afterwards, meet Gannon outside the bunker to receive his gratitude and his family's power armor.

Quest Complete.
