I started hooping on August 1, 2010, I fell in love instantly and started documented my progress, never planning to share. In December I started trying to lose weight AGAIN. Now, 8 months later, I have lost over 60lbs and counting. Even though hooping itself didn't cause me to lose weight, I owe every pound to my love for hoop dance. I found myself with hoop dance. ***UPDATE: I lost weight by making permanent lifestyle changes! I completely changed my eating habits and started exercising everyday. I started running and doing strength exercises 6 days a week, and eating clean (nutrient-dense whole foods). Hooping was something I did as a hobby, passion, art, form of self-expression. It was never and will never be exercise to me. Hooping isn't how I lost weight, it's how I got inspired and believed that it was possible! Please do not advertise for any weight loss programs. All comments promoting weight loss programs WILL BE DELETED!
