The 2004 film was definitely good; Alan Ruckman as Marvin was just brilliant, but any fan of the series will definitely appreciate this.

Don't panic. Although made in 1982, the television production of this show is probably 42 times more accurate than the atrocious excuse for a movie production. Thank you for posting!

Accurate? What's there to be accurate? If you mean faithful to the radio series or books then it's worth noting that seeing as Douglas was a writer on the movie, so it's obviously to his satisfaction.
