http://www.firealarmsonline.com brings you this easy to follow wiring instruction for the proper method of wiring multiple conventional duct smoke detectors or beam detectors off of one IDC (initiating Device Circuit) or addressable module. It is important to always run your wire in parallel through the alarm contacts of each detector prior to running through the supervisory contacts. Once you are at the last detector, the resistor must be ran in series through all of the supervisory contacts on each detector.
