BASIC CHESS PIECE FUNCTIONS!
Pawn:
-Worth 1 point
-Move 1 or 2 spaces forward - first move, after first move can only move 1 space forward
-Cannot move diagonally or horizontally
-Exception to diagonally is when the pawn is taking another piece

Rook: (or castle)
-Worth 5 points
-Moves in a horizontal and vertical motion
-Can move anywhere it wants
-Cannot move diagonally
-Cannot jump over pieces

Knight: (or horse)
-Worth 3 points
-Moves like its shape (Up 2 squares Over 1) "L" shape
-Cannot move diagonal
-ONLY piece that can jump over pawns and pieces

Bishop:
-Worth 3 points
-Can move diagonally
-Can only move on the color it was designated to in the beginning
-Can move as many spaces as it wants
-Cannot jump over pieces

Queen:
-Worth 9 points
-Queen on her own color
-Most Powerful piece on the board
-Can move in any direction (Combination of Bishop and Rook)
-Cannot jump over pieces

King:
-Worth is PRICELESS; it is worth the WHOLE game
-Most Valuable piece (Queen is most powerful piece)
-Can move any direction, but only 1 space at a time in any direction
-Cannot jump over pieces
