Bring to Life the Struggle for Social Justice -
The brain child of history professor James Walsh, University of Colorado Denver, the Romero Theater Troup brings history alive through live drama. It started with 7 performers, all former students of Walsh’s, and now is an all-volunteer group of 70 volunteers. The Troupe’s most popular drama has been Which Side Are You On. It tells the story of the American labor movement, weaving in the stories of the farm workers struggles, the Memphis garbage workers strike, and other labor batttles. Almost 3,000 people have seen this play.
