CRAS students are able to spend a day at Phoenix International Raceway for October's NASCAR race. They toured the broadcast compound to see how a race is set up and broadcast live. They also were able to have hands-on experiences mixing a feed that our Mobile Broadcast Unit was receiving from SRT, Fox Sports 1 or ESPN. Mixing live NASCAR feeds along with the producers comments! This is a great example of the variety of jobs that are available in a career as an audio engineer.
