This video is part of my dissertation study. I conducted a study in rural Pakistan to understand socio-cultural issues, girls' literacy and education. In addition, I designed curriculum guidelines using critical literacy and feminist pedagogy integrated with Islamic teachings. I implemented these guidelines in a rural government girls' school in Central Pakistan. This video sheds light on the implementation and impact of that curriculum with girls.
