This is my mom's steamed chicken and Chinese mushroom recipe. You can use bone-in or boneless chicken in this recipe. This dish is popular iin southern China, in areas like Hoiping (Kaiping) and Toisan (Taishan). When you steam this dish in a covered pan, it produces a really delicious sauce. I like it especdially with rice. I just found out what the "gei do" berry used in this recipe. It is called goji berry or wolfberry. This berry supposedly is good for your health as well.
