ASF - A CAMPAIGN OF TACTICAL PERSUASION RATHER THAN INFORMATIVE ENGAGEMENT!!!!!

Nine Gold Coast News, 8th Oct 2014 - ASF and Tom Tate have had nearly two years to genuinely demonstrate to the State Government that there is 'strong community support' for their land grab - and now, just a few weeks away from the reported 'deadline' and state government decision on the process, a last ditch attempt by ASF has seen them bring in a ringer 'community engagement officer' to put a fresh, albeit unfamiliar face to their shambles campaign.

According to repeated jargon from Tom Tate, 'two in one people' support this project (yes that was his exact claim repeatedly) despite there being no evidence to even remotely support his claims, and rather there being mountains of evidence that proves that at best the city is divided, and more so that the majority of people are strongly opposes or have some grave reservations about this proposal.

Right now, ASF are again, in the dying hours, embarking on this campaign of persuasion, publishing unverifiable claims whilst downplaying the cruise ship terminal and casino component of their plans. They have ignored residents direct questions and enquiries regarding the technical and environmental concerns by repeating their fluff and nonsense rhetoric - short simple statements with buzz phrases such as 'eco marine park' and 'community ownership'. All of their claims are backed by no reports or detailed proposal documents, frighteningly they are in fact in stark contrast to the actual expert claims, industry-authority reports, observations and determinations regarding this area.

The state government, your MPs and the deputy premier NEED to hear from you again and again in the coming weeks. Let them know what you think about the ASF plan to tactically persuade you rather than engage you for you genuine opinion and answer your legitimate questions of concern! Details below -
