In this video, the peak of Mt Coolum happens to touch the horizon as seen from the Sunshine Coast hinterland. As the observation point is over 200 metres higher than the mountain, this dispels the oft quoted myth the spread by Flat Earthers that the horizon always rises to the horizontal eye-level (even if the earth was flat, it would still not be true). The observation also compares favourably to curvature predictions.

Observation points:
Flaxton Gardens, 313-327 Flaxton Drive, Flaxton QLD 4560 Australia
Mt Coolum, 26°33'40.76"S, 153° 5'3.19"E
