Here's my selfbuilt 1541 ultimate case (made from a heavily sawed and filed standard Reichelt/Conrad case) playing the wellknown 1541 "Daisy" drivemusic aka Sing Song Serenade from Christopher Capon. I took the speaker from one of those passive cable-less plugin speakers, it's an ultraflat 8 Ohm speaker that just fits perfectly in the case right above the FPGA. For me this is the ideal solution, as I won't be taking a set of external speakers with me to parties, nor will use headphones merely to listen to my 1541 ultimate. But sound is important, since you can tell if the floppy is stuck in a loading loop or if it's just loading very slowly, because you can hear the head move! Crazy Gideon included that awesome feature - make use of it! ;-)
