• Ingredients! For a good biryani you need best quality rice 4 ½ cup soaked for 1-1 ½ hours (Qilla Excel Extra Long) 2kg fresh chicken; 1cup full yogurt, 1cup full oil, food coloring; 10-12 green cardamoms, 1 ½ ts full garam masala powder (homemade), mace powder/javathri powder) ¾ ts, nutmeg powder/jaiphal ¾ ts ; fresh coriander, fresh mint, prunes/aaloo bhukare from India/Pakistan, 1 whole lemon spices- 1 ½ ts crushed chillies, 1 ½ ts coriander powder, 1ts cumin seeds & 1 ½ ts full salt; 2 inches of ginger piece, 1 whole garlic, 2 medium-large sz onions (1 md & 1 large); For boiling rice ing: 3 cloves, dalchini/cinnamon 2 inches & salt 2tbs full Serves 6 people or so. If there is no rice cooker! place all in a big pot cover fully and place it in oven for 20-25 min 180C.
