The JPO Programme provides young professionals pursuing a career in development with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in multilateral cooperation and international development within UNDP and other UN Agencies, either in the field or in Headquarters locations usually for two to three years. JPOs are motivated young people with a strong commitment to development, who “want to be part of the transformational change” and “to be in the front line”, as Peter says in the video.
