A video depicting the "cultural" events in RuneScape since 1998. These are the main events that I remember while playing (started in November 2004), and have heard about before I began. Sometimes the captions on the pictures are hard to read; please pay attention :D.

The two songs in this video, "Lovers in Japan" and "Pictures of You" are owned and copyrighted by Coldplay and The Last Good Night. I do not own these songs or use them profit.

Enjoy!

----------------------------------
The Falador Massacre was an event that took place on June 6th, 2006 (6/6/06) on RuneScape World 111. About eight days after the Construction skill was released, a player by the name of 'Cursed You' was the first to achieve 99 in the skill. He hosted a massive house party that included hundreds of friends and guests. Without warning, he expelled everyone from his house, creating a massive lag and glitch in the game system. All guests were teleported to Falador Square, where a player by the name of Durial321 found that he was able to attack everyone else. No other player could attack Durial321, and he collected many rare items from the massacre. Videos on YouTube show Player Moderators frantically telling players to bank their items to avoid losing them. Although Durial321 was the most famous PKer and only player banned, other players all over RuneScape found themselves able to attack outside the Wilderness. The second most famous massacre on that day took place in Edgeville. To this day, the Falador Massacre is the most publicized and harmful glitch since RuneScape began in 2001.
