Documentary about the women who tried to stop World War 1. In 1915 1300 women from warring and neutral nations got together in the Hague to find a way towards peace. They became the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom which celebrates its centenary on 28th April 2015. This documentary celebrates those early feminists. Modern members of WILPF and young volunteers worked together to uncover the truth about these women who Churchill called "dangerous". Director of Photography Nick Gordon-Smith. Editors Sue Giovanni and Andy Kimpton-Nye. Director Charlotte Bill. Made by Clapham Film Unit. Funded by The Heritage Lottery Fund
