For the past eight years the New York City Friends of Clearwater has hosted a Water Festival on the Hudson River or the East River. There are educational panels about environmental issues and music played by talented artists committed to social justice and environmental sanity.
The 2016 festival was no different. In addition to managing the stage and musical acts, my contribution to this year's event was a song I wrote about closing the Indian Point nuclear power plant 30 miles up the Hudson from where this event took place.
