Inaugural 4WD Fundraiser for Glenbervie School near Whangarei. Trip into the forest and a few farms just North of Whangarei. A good trip with over 60 trucks split into 5 smaller groups which worked very well.

There was a shiny and a Club run option but most were on shiny. The shiny run had very few challenges but probably enough for a few that only had road tyres. My 33" Silverstone Xtreme tyres and Dual lockers were probably overkill for the shiny run though.

Some of the most unusual vehicles I have seen on these runs included a Mitsi 4WD Space Gear Jasper Van, a series Land Rover Fire Engine and a 4WD Toyota Camper Van but the Mitsi Van in our group did extremely well indeed and outshone a Toyota Prado that I had to tow up a slippery part at one point.

Lunches were provided and they put on a BBQ and a few prizes given away at the end, sadly I came away before the BBQ and headed home.
