I'm so confused. I've always listened to this version on my brother's CD player then eventually iTunes. I thought this was the only version

+Dylan Olger It's not terrible. This version is just edgier and more raw. the other version is more poppy I guess. It's still good but this version is way better

i feel like this band is actually a good band, but now a days, hard rock is considered death metal amongst little girls with colorful hair and rediculous skinny jeans and an ungodly amount of "band" merchandise. bleh, children.

Pop punk is my favorite genre typically. I would consider this hard rock or alternative. It doesn't fall into any punk or metal category.

+evano ucono noooo, Demon Hunter is groove metal/metalcore. As I Lay Dying was a metalcore band and ABR is a metalcore band as well. Hard rock is like Buckcherry and Led Zeppelin.

I prefer this version, personally. It sounds a bit rawer, dirtier. I like that.
Alex Hartz "rawer"
Was this song over before ... before it ever began?

Well shit, now I feel ripped off for buying the other version on iTunes -_-
+rustilldown7 Yeah that scream makes it much more better. More energy.
right? I haven't listened to this song in a while and saw it on Google music got to the scream part and thought "what the fuck?"
That scream at 1:58 is where it's at.

+TriviumAnterior I do listen to metal. But I'll tell you right now that scream belongs in this song. It feels right. The newer version just feels deflated. Probably better for a live performance, but it's like bottling up all the emotion in the song and then letting it out of the neck of a balloon like depressing flatulence.
