In the Weekly Republican Address, Sen. Susan Collins, the senior Senator from Maine, says that many workers will find their hours reduced and their wages cut because of Obamacare. Under Obamacare, anyone working an average of 30 hours a week is considered a "full-time" employee, forcing many employers to cut their employees' hours. But in an effort to protect American jobs, Sen. Collins has introduced legislation that would define full-time work at 40 or more hours a week. "A 40-hour work week is full-time, we all know that. This bill is just common sense," Senator Collins says.
