We make our own custom dashboard this year (2012) for FRC. It is written in Java using sockets. Also it allows for unlimited cameras (2 shown). The cameras are access directly, ie don't go thru the crio so it dosent lag the robot. The cameras and other parts of teh dashboard have no lag. (any lag shown is from the screen recorder). Also, I am driving 100% by the cameras (can't see the bot lol thats why im going slow).
Other Notes:
we are using a ps3 controller
we are testing on our bot from last year
Layout is 100% customizable
The yellow bars are attached to the throttle of the robot, but backward atm (simple switch in code) (R2, L2)
Big thing in the middle is the speedometer (currently attached to the forward throttle (R2)
Thing on right (round) is the gyro.
left camera is back camera, right is front
the two green bars arn't connected to anything atm, on the real robot they will be connected to encoders on the wheels.
Graphs, Volts (not plugged in), latency, Accelerometer (not plugged in)
Readouts: 1-3 throttle, 4 idk, 5, latency, 6, nothing
Bar at top: Robot mode (red: disabled, blue: auto, green: tele)
