What to fix:

The mobile ground target I'm shooting @ 17:43 is a patent of Gnat Warefare LLC

Some of the testing footage was filmed at Cowtown Range - America's Secret Range

Bought the gun after seeing the SHOT Show 2013 coverage from Iraqveteran8888 and Military Arms Channel.
Wanted it since it's an inexpensive short stroke piston 5.56mm/.223 rifle and a side charger design.
I do not like AR-15's especially D.I. ones.

This video will show many, although not all failures I've had with the MPAR 556 during the first 1600 rounds.
Before the fixes I was never able to run the failure free for longer than 120 rounds.

Ammo run through the gun:
Igman M193 5.56 (Bosnian military)
PMC X-Tac XM193 5.56
PMC Bronze .223
Federal 5.56
American Eagle 5.56
*None of the ammo ran failure free before the fixes, although the American Eagle never light primer striked in my gun.*

I did exchange many emails with Phil and Brandon at Masterpiece Arms regarding the failures over the course of several months.
They are nice guys who sent me the last round bolt hold open, a pack of replacement extractor roll pins and later a whole new bolt carrier group for free!
Phil specifically requested my gun back on 2 occassions.
I refused because I did not want to pull off all my accessories and then have to re-zero the sights and optic once returned.

At the end of the video one bolt group carrier group is labeled Pew Pew and the other is OPER8R. The solid steel extractor pin fix in both bcg's.
Blue tape seen on the PMags is me labeling the type of ammo in each one in case a failure did occur after the mods.
At the time of upload this gun was up to 2200 rounds fired and last 500 since the fixes were problem free.

On the gun:
Trijicon SRS w/ ARD
ARMS Inc flip up sights
Magpul AFG
Mission First Tactical EPGI16 grip
LaRue index clips
Ladder rail cover
Magpul ASAP
