Norman Gryspeerdt describes the Bromoil Process.

Norman Gryspeerdt produced Bromoil Prints for over fifty years and was undoubtedly one of the finest exponents of the technique worldwide.

A former stills photographer for The Rank Organisation and Universal Studios, he photographed many household names from the cinema world such as Sophia Loren, Julie Christie, Vanessa Redgrave, Michael Caine, Marlon Brando, Charlton Heston and Gregory Peck.

He was made a fellow of the Royal Photographic Society, where he has a number of his Bromoil Prints in their permanent collection, and was also invited to become a member of the prestigious London Salon of Photography.

Norman Gryspeerdt died in 1998, but in the photographic world his name will forever be associated with the Bromoil Process and its revival.
