There is a growing need for those who can skillfully navigate our increasingly complex and interconnected world. More and more, engaged citizens must collaborate with colleagues from a variety of backgrounds, nationalities, and experiences. The Global Citizenship initiative of the Strategic Plan is intended to help St. Markers develop an intercultural fluency: the ability to recognize, understand, and appreciate cultural similarities and differences, and to learn how to cooperate across geographic and cultural boundaries.
