Mr. Paul "Buddy" Bucha, West Point Class of 1965, spoke to the Class of 2015 during their Cadet Field Training Awards Ceremony as part of the 50-Year Affiliation Program. Bucha linked '65's experiences in Vietnam with the AK-47 to the challenges facing today's graduates in Afghanistan with that same AK-47. He also reminded these new cadet corporals about their responsibilities to the plebes as they enter the ranks of cadet NCOs. Lastly, Bucha advised members of '15 of the lesson that every Class learns as they proceed further down the Long Gray Line: not rank, riches, or accolades, but the words of "well done" from classmates.
