Across North Carolina, thousands of children with special needs are not receiving all of services they need while in public school. This causes parents to spend hundreds, sometimes thousands per month on therapy and other services for their children. House Bill 344 (Tax Credit for Children with Disabilities) allows parents to receive a tax credit of up to $6,000 for those expenses. A few of the parents who would benefit from the credit are featured in this PEFNC video.
