The USGS asked Designmatters at Art Center College of Design to make a PSA (public service announcement) that would raise tsunami awareness in people who visit or live near the coast, especially those who typically ignore hazard awareness messages. In spring, 2013, the Digital Motion Compositing Studio at Art Center developed and produced this narrative.

How can we inform people about tsunami dangers and how to stay safe?

STORY
Sue Nami, the force of nature herself, travels through different beach environments to tell people how to recognize tsunami warning signs and how to be safe, should a tsunami strike.
