This is a clip from "The Young Ones" episode "Cash", featuring a band named "Ken Bishop's Nice Twelve" performing Bob Dylan's "Subterranean Homesick Blues". The "band" was really just a one-off conglomerate consisting of Squeeze members Jools Holland (conducting and wearing a yellow beret) & Chris Difford; plus Stewart Copeland of The Police and other musicians and comedians including Derek Griffiths, Martin Dobson, Simon Brint (as Ken Bishop), Rowland Rivron (as Duane Bishop) Peter Brewis (who also wrote TYO closing theme) and more (can anyone name the other fellows?).
This clip was edited from most subsequent DVD and VHS copies of "The Young Ones" due to copyright problems. (I found it on a Spanish copy.) Enjoy.
