Unity of Sedona Sacred Sunday Service with Michael Mirdad

Easter isn't really about a crucified man. It's about the resurrected soul of all people. In every moment, we can choose to die of the old, and open to the new, no matter what we have been through. It's time to let go of the ego and open to who we truly are. Just like a Phoenix rises out of the ashes, so can we rise out of the ashes of our past into a whole new life.

Jesus was unique among all of the Masters. His coming was foretold by many cultures and teachers--including Buddha. Buddha taught us that we need to free ourselves from bad karma but he predicted that Christ would come to present us with Grace--a law far more powerful than karma. The Sunday message also reminded us to let go of (crucify) all that is not like Christ and to be born again (resurrect) into a new self and a new life. In so doing, we become the presence of holiness in this world.

"Love is who we are and Forgiveness is what Love does." This one sentence reminds of our true identity, as well as our only true and meaningful function.

The meditation at the end of this video helps us to release the past and to remember that we are part of God and we are very holy.
