This is a film of me and Joe Breskin recording my "Beatles Revival Dream" song in Rainshadow Studio in Port Townsend on 8/27/2019. Joe is a brilliant local player and general renaissance man. The session was engineered very adeptly by studio owner Everett Moran. What you hear is not what was recorded by the microphones you see, but by tiny XY mics on the camera - thus the hisses, etc. Improved versions of these sessions will be available with mixed audio, as I work with Everett to complete the CD in the coming months. Lyrics: 1. Lost in some kind of Beatles revival dream Your instruments scattered, half-untogether, No practice, six diagrams, fourteen picks. It seems Useless to tell you, I’ve tried it just makes us mad. Why are the dreams forgotten, the dreams most easily had?
2. You live in a school bus that’s always in somebody’s drive. On six flats and three bucks and garden hose water You keep yourself clean and rumors of comebacks alive. Dreaming of my lady, leaving your lovely girl so sad. Why are the dreams forgotten, the dreams most easily had?
3. INSTRUMENTAL VERSE
4. There really is nothing you couldn’t do if you choose. Hell, that bus came out fine – paneled in redwood A star satin canopy, and a bathroom most people would use. But, Lord, who notices? That’s the part you find bad. Why are the dreams forgotten the dreams most easily had? Why are the dreams forgotten the dreams most easily had? Why are the dreams we’ve forgotten the dreams most easily had
