THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL COMMERCIAL FROM NINTENDO. JUST OFFICIAL LOOKING.

USE THIS VIDEO! Details on The Wired Fish blog. http://wp.me/p1kPZw-19S

Here's the third commercial I made for Xenoblade Chronicles. This one takes cues from the Accolades trailer from Operation Rainfall, making things a little more cleaner and not look so "fan-made." More of the work went to the quotes as I wrote out the quotes in Sony Vegas. I referred to the Accolades trailer for the quotes and used the ones that were short and quicker to read since this is such a condensed commercial.

One thing I wanted to make sure of was that the quotes came from publications/websites based in North America, or not very obvious that they came from Europe. Pretty hard to do since the game only had a European release beforehand, thus not many American publications played the game.

I changed the end flourish to the cast running toward the camera instead of Shulk's back turned since this has a slightly different feel to the other two. I wanted to show the grander scope of things with this trailer, along with the quotes.

Another major change I did with this commercial (which I then applied to the previous two) was the end image, which now has places where you could pre-order the game. Getting the logos was almost easy. Gamestop was okay. But the ShopNintendo one was another story as there it too has no transparent PNG of that logo available anywhere. So I downloaded a Nintendo font and recreated the logo on GIMP. Once all the pieces were together in GIMP, I brought 'em back to Vegas and finished up. I also changed the website at the bottom to have it be generated by GIMP instead of Vegas, and now has a "www." before "xenoblade.com"

The music is Those who Bear Their Name. Again, this was a more of a mix between the exploration and action of the other two, with story segments thrown into the mix.
