This was the earliest commercial for Pac-Man cereal, which was wildly popular in the 80s. Yeah, it was basically General Mills' alternate version of "Lucky Charms" with Pac-Man shapes, but nobody cared. It worked well with the theme of the arcade game, it had marshmallows, and the cereal itself was kind of like Kix. This bright, animated commercial had its own take on the characters: Pac-Man, Inky, Pinky, Blinky & Clyde, which were drawn very differently from the Saturday morning cartoon. Plus, Pac-Man breakdances at the end...so 80s.
