In this video series, McMaster students confront the stereotypes associated with aging and act as visionaries on the topic of optimal aging by communicating three original stories using multimedia:
"Aging in Community" by Ellen Ryan, Donna Paige and Abrar Hossain
"Granny" by Korry Garvey and Victor Pope
"Entangled Thread" by Daniel Patino and Maria Antonia Arango
The three video presentations were created by students and faculty as part of a workshop series led by McMaster professor emeritus Ellen Ryan, and multimedia specialist Chris McAllister from Lyons New Media Centre. This event series has been made possible with the support from McMaster University's Labarge Optimal Aging Initiative.
