The war in Bosnia and Herzegovina from 1992 to 1995 left a grim legacy of landmines and other explosive remnants of war. Norwegian People's Aid (NPA) works with humanitarian demining in affected communities since 1996. The main goal of NPA is to enable return of internally displaced persons and safe re-cultivation of agricultural land that has been blocked due to the presence of landmines since the war. Leo Ajkić came to Norway as refugee from Mostar (Bosnia and Herzegovina) in 1994. In October 2011 he visited children in mine affected communities where NPA works. In this documentary Leo speaks with children and youth living in these communities in order to try to understand what it is like to grow up next to the minefields.
