All you need is an egg, butter, milk, flour, baking powder, sugar, cocoa powder … and a microwave! Plus, one surprise ingredient turns it into the easiest-ever self-saucing chocolate pudding. CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE Makes 1 Prep & cooking 5 mins
30g butter, melted 2 tbsp milk 1 Coles Brand Australian Free Range Egg 1/4 cup (35g) plain flour, sifted 1/2 tsp baking powder 2 tbsp caster sugar 2 tbsp cocoa powder, sifted 1 Lindt Lindor chocolate ball Dollop cream, to serve
1. Whisk butter, milk and egg in a jug. Combine flour, baking powder, sugar and cocoa in a bowl. Stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until smooth. 2. Spoon half the mixture into a 1 1/4 cup (310ml) microwave-safe mug. Place chocolate ball in the centre. Spoon remaining mixture on top. Microwave on high for 1 min or until risen and just cooked (or continue cooking, checking every 10 secs, until cooked to your liking). 3. Top with a spoonful of cream and serve immediately.
