Bright Future Taught from Children: Megumi Kotake at TEDxFukuoka
Megumi Kotake is a freelance child-rearing specialist, a representative of the Kodomo Mirai Tankyu company and in 2013 she established the Non-Profit Organization Otona no Senaka. The NPO's mission is to develop safe and supportive environments that allow children to express themselves freely. And for six years, Kotake has been lecturing internationally and sharing her message, "The Difference is the Gift". She is devoted to helping people grow their "heart" and trains adults to accept their "bumps" in order to live their truest lives.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
