Since the 2013 "Why is Toybox" talk at ELC, Toybox has been merged into Tizen and the Android base system. This talk is an update covering the past two years of development and what's left on the roadmap to 1.0.

Rob Landley
The one known as, Company
Rob tends to start things that grow out of control, from the "Patch Penguin" proposal to Penguicon and the BusyBox lawsuits. These days he does Aboriginal Linux, is working to provide a new standard Android command line with Toybox, messes around with Linux documentation, and someday hopes to have time to glue QEMU's Tiny Code Generator to Tinycc's compiler front end... The usual.
