Chico con Tumbao is a duo originally from Colombia and Chile that perform an array of styles from Latin folklore as well as music from the likes of the Gypsy Kings, Jobin, Santana, Buena Vista and many more. The romantic bolero, the sensual bossa nova, to the catchier cha cha cha, la rumba, el tango, la salsa and merenge, the list goes on.

After years of performing in many Latin bands in Europe, Dubai, Colombia, Brazil and Aotearoa, they have now joined forces to delight you with the best of their experience. The repertoire is extensive and can be discussed and arranged to suit.

Chico plays acoustic guitar and sings fluently in Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese and English. Edwin is an accomplished percussionist and vocalist.
